USDA MAINTAINS LARGE 2024 CORN, SOYBEAN CROP ESTIMATES

The USDA has made adjustments to its 2024 corn and soybean production estimates. As of October 1, corn is pegged at 15.2 billion bushels and soybeans are projected at a record 4.582 billion bushels. Illinois soybeans are projected at 720.25 million bushels with a record average yield of 67 bushels per acre.
