Agronomic Outreach Coordinator

Lauran Hill is the Agronomic Outreach Coordinator for the Illinois Soybean Association. She coordinates events and programs, assists with social media, and manages Field Advisor’s graphic design and photography needs. She graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with her master’s in Agriculture Production, after completing her bachelor’s in Crop Science with a minor in Food and Agribusiness Management. While attending the university, she worked at the UIUC Soybean Research Lab, assisting with multiple field trials. Lauran is involved in her family’s corn, soybean, alfalfa and cattle farm. She also coordinates the family’s local retail Meat Shop operation.

The Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) checkoff and membership programs represent more than 43,000 soybean farmers in Illinois. The checkoff funds market development, soybean production and government relations efforts, while the membership program, Illinois Soybean Growers (ISG) and the Illinois Soybean Growers PAC actively advocates for positive and impactful legislation for farmers at local, state and national levels. ISA upholds the interests of Illinois soybean farmers through promotion, advocacy, research and education with the vision of becoming a trusted partner of Illinois soybean farmers to ensure their profitability now and for future generations.
