Director of Finance
Kati Owen is Director of Finance for the Illinois Soybean Association (ISA). She is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization and making decisions based on the organization’s financial stability and transparency of financial operations. She works closely with the CEO and elected Board of Directors to include, monitoring cash flow, determining best practices for the organization’s finances, and strategic planning.
Owen is an alumnus of Illinois State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Financial Accounting. She is currently enrolled at Colorado State University-Global in pursuance of her Master of Professional Accountancy degree, once completed she intends to sit for the CPA. Owen has over 20 years of accounting experience in various industries.
She hails from the small town of Stanford, IL. Alongside her husband, she produces beef cattle and operates a privately-owned excavating company. In her free time, she enjoys riding horses with her daughters and granddaughter.
