Deanna Burkhart is the Producer and Field Services Administrator for the Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) where she works with the Soybean Production Committee, coordinates On-Farm Trial Network involvement and assists with partnership agreements. She graduated from the University of Illinois College of ACES with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and a minor in Crop Science. She has many years of experience working in crop research where she focused on soybean breeding, nursery coordination, field testing and early pipeline seed logistics. Burkhart currently resides outside of Bloomington, Ill. on her family farm with her husband and children. Her family grows corn and soybeans along with raising beef and dairy cattle.
