BLOOMINGTON, IL – March 8, 2021 — Soybean farmers across Illinois all have unique stories and experiences – and we want to celebrate the farm families that contribute to Illinois being the #1 soybean state in the country. The Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) is excited to launch a new video docuseries called “ILSoyStories” to celebrate soybean growers across the state.
Four soybean farmers and their families are featured in the docuseries and share their own, unique farming experiences with viewers. The videos feature the Frieders from Waterman, Ill., the Emericks from Vandalia, Ill., the Gaffners from Greenville, Ill., and the Willards from Griggsville, Ill.
In addition to the docuseries, ISA is celebrating soybean farmers through content on ISA’s social channels using the hashtag #EveryFarmerHasAStory. ISA is also featuring a soybean farmer through the recurring ‘Every Farmer has a Story’ section in each issue of the Illinois Field & Bean publication.
“The ILSoyStories campaign is a special project that introduces Illinois farmers to four really special soybean producing families. Each family has a unique story to tell, and a great perspective on how they got to where they are today,” said Doug Schroeder, ISA Chairman. “ISA is honored to work on behalf of the 43,000 soybean farmers in Illinois, and it’s a privilege to tell their stories.”
