BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (December 4, 2024) — The Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) is proud to announce the winners of the 2025 Master Adviser Award and Dave Rahe Excellence in Soils Consulting Award.

Jeremy Wilson, owner of Wilson Seed and an independent sales representative for Pioneer, has been named the 2025 Master Adviser. With over 20 years of experience, he has built a reputation for helping Illinois farmers maximize yields and profitability through expert agronomy services. Wilson holds a degree in agronomy from Northwest Missouri State University and has operated Wilson Seed for 13 years, providing tailored agronomy and crop insurance services.

“Jeremy exemplifies the qualities we seek in the Master Adviser award—dedication to improving soybean production, commitment to lifelong learning, and a deep connection to the farming community,” said Bryan Severs, ISA Soybean Production Committee Chair. “His contributions have positively impacted many growers, and we’re proud to honor him with this well-deserved award.”

Brandon Hall, Location Operations Manager at West Central FS, has been named the 2025 recipient of the Dave Rahe Excellence in Soils Consulting Award. A Certified Crop Adviser since 2018, Hall has specialized in soil and crop management for over ten years. His commitment to soil health is exemplified through his education and leadership roles, including Chair of the Knox County Farm Bureau Young Leaders and Chairman of the Cover Crop Project.

“Brandon exemplifies the passion and dedication that the Dave Rahe Excellence in Soils Consulting Award was created to honor,” said Severs. “His commitment to advancing soil health practices, mentoring the next generation of agricultural leaders, and serving his community sets him apart as a true advocate for agricultural and environmental stewardship.”
