The Endangered Species Act is designed to protect our nation’s endangered and threatened species. However, recent advocacy efforts by environmental groups have led to policy changes that could affect Illinois farmers’ access to essential crop protection tools.
To help Illinois farmers navigate these upcoming changes, the Illinois Soybean Association, Illinois Corn and Illinois Farm Bureau are hosting a series of Endangered Species Act Workshops across the state.
Join us at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, in Smithton, Ill., for a grower-focused discussion and a presentation from Southern Illinois University Assistant Professor Dr. Karla Gage.
Dinner will be provided and CCA credits are available.
