This week, ISA's Government Relations and Agronomy teams traveled to the Tri-Town YMCA to talk with kids about cover crops, soil health, soy products, and careers in agriculture. The ISA team was joined by members from the DuPage County Farm Bureau, along with local legislators who were introduced to new perspectives on the soybean and agriculture industry.

The Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) recently launched an updated B20 Club webpage that features an interactive map of Illinois-based organizations that utilize 20% biodiesel and higher blends. The B20 Club is a partnership between ISA and the American Lung Association that recognizes organizations throughout Illinois which rely on biodiesel blends to fuel their fleets.

The Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) is excited to announce the return of its annual Achievement Awards Program, designed to honor individuals who have impacted the Illinois soybean industry. The five award categories include the Chairman’s Award, Legislator of the Year Award, Excellence in Media Award, Friend of Illinois Soybean Farmers Award, and Farm Family of the Year Award.

The Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) is seeking qualified candidates to fill board seats representing six districts. Candidates must be Illinois residents of legal voting age that contribute to the soybean checkoff, as well as residents within the district, and maintain eligibility during their term. To be placed on the ballot, petitions must be completed and filed with the Illinois Department of Agriculture by May 15, 2023.

Farmers across Illinois now have access to a new, easy-to-navigate Crop Report tool, brought to you by the Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) Agronomy team, Soy Envoys, University of Illinois Extension, and other industry experts. The interactive resource enables growers to better manage their soybean, corn and wheat crops.

The American Soybean Association (ASA) is now accepting applications for two director positions. Interested applicants should apply by July 14, 2023. Additionally, the Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) is seeking qualified candidates to fill six board seats that are up for election this year. To be placed on the ballot, petitions must be completed by May 15, 2023.
