Research Data Scientist
Stacy Zuber is the Research Data Scientist for the Illinois Soybean Association. She works on behalf of Illinois soybean farmers in the development and implementation of agricultural research and outreach programs. Her emphasis is on designing and implementing on-farm research trials, analyzing data and preparing and delivering outreach materials to share findings with the agricultural community.
Dr. Zuber earned a Master’s of Science and Doctorate in Crop Sciences from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She gained research experience as a postdoctoral researcher at Purdue University and at University of Missouri-Columbia, particularly working with analysis of on-farm research data. In her previous position, Dr. Zuber served as the Illinois Soil Health Specialist for USDA – Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), where she focused on outreach and education for producers and conservation staff relating to soil health and developing resilience in agronomic cropping systems.
