Bloomington, ILL – September 21, 2022 – The Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) has named Kelsey Litchfield of Rio, Illinois as Agronomic Programs Coordinator.
In her new role within the ISA agronomy team, Litchfield will be working on behalf of Illinois soybean farmers by coordinating programs and implementing mission driven objectives.
“Kelsey not only brings top-notch communication skills that will be utilized to their fullest within our agronomy team, but more importantly a passion for agriculture,” says Stephanie Porter, ISA’s Outreach Agronomist. “We cannot wait to get started on new outreach projects that will showcase her skills for Illinois soybean farmers.”
Litchfield is an agricultural communicator specializing in audio production and videography. She received her bachelor’s degree in agricultural communications and broadcast journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Internships with RFD Radio Network, Illinois Farm Bureau, National FFA, and Colleen Callahan Consultancy fueled her passion for agricultural journalism, storytelling, and consulting.
Litchfield continues to be active on her family’s farm and shows antique Ford tractors. She also serves on her local church and township boards and enjoys spending time with her Australian Shepherd, Lexie.
