Bloomington, Ill. – August 23, 2022 – The Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) has named Gregory Van Note of Paxton, Illinois as Information Support Specialist.
In this new role, Van Note will be working on behalf of Illinois soybean farmers in providing computer and network support with the installation, troubleshooting, and diagnosing hardware and software issues. He will be based out of the Bloomington, Illinois office but travel to the Lombard, Illinois office and directors’ farms as needed to ensure all ISA staff and leadership have the necessary access and connectivity to conduct ISA business.
“With the rapid growth and expansion of the ISA team, Greg’s high-level skillset and technological knowledge is invaluable and imperative,” says ISA Information Technology Manager, David Knapp. “We are excited to have Greg on our team to support the smooth transition of our staff to our new Bloomington office while also ensuring our farmer directors have optimal connectivity and technological support on their farms.”
Van Note was born and raised in Anchor, Illinois but now resides in Paxton, Illinois with his wife and daughter. He spent six years serving our country in the Illinois Army National Guard Infantry. In his free time, VanNote enjoys camping, playing frisbee golf, golfing, and spending time with his family.
