BLOOMINGTON, ILL – December 1, 2021 – The Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) is proud to welcome a new class to the Soy Ambassador Leadership Program, sponsored by the ISA checkoff and membership programs. This is a one-year program that gives participants opportunities to gain leadership expertise and agronomic exposure, and to discover the challenges and opportunities facing the soybean industry.
The 2021-2022 Soy Ambassadors Class will be initiated during the 2021 November/December Board Meeting in Bloomington, Illinois.
“I feel that the Soy Ambassador Leadership Program will be a tremendous opportunity for me to enhance and share my knowledge of the agriculture and soybean industries with others,” says Brad Braddock of Patoka, Illinois. “I also want to have a greater understanding of how the Illinois Soybean Association and Board work. Knowing the issues that are important to my fellow growers will allow us to all be heard as one unified voice.”
Adds Molly Holthaus of Assumption, Illinois, “I have a strong passion for agriculture and believe that knowledge is power. I want to advocate for this industry and provide correct information to the general population. Being part of the ISA Soy Ambassador Program will develop my skills and knowledge of the soybean industry, from an international and domestic standpoint.”
