Senior Accountant

Jessica Scott is the Senior Accountant for the Illinois Soybean Association (ISA). As Senior Accountant, Jessica is responsible for the review and recording of all program expenditures. She works closely with ISA partners to ensure expenditure accuracy and adherence to Federal compliance standards. Jessica leads ISA’s annual contracting process, and she reports on the financial status of each program and related contracts throughout the year. Jessica also manages ISA’s fixed asset accounting and administrates its project management system.

Prior to joining ISA, Jessica spent a year at Country Financial performing various types of internal audits and assisting external auditor, Ernst & Young. In 2017, Scott graduated from Illinois State University with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Professional Accountancy. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Illinois CPA Society.

Jessica hails from Forreston, Illinois. In her spare time, she enjoys watching sports with her husband, gardening, and playing with her daughter and cat. On any given summer afternoon, you’ll hear the Chicago Cubs game playing from her office.
